Alicia Smootz

Alicia Smootz grew up traveling throughout the United States in a military family. She found her true home in the Shenandoah Valley at the age of twelve. As a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for delivering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare, Alicia brings 20+ years of nursing experience and expertise into her practice. Alicia graduated in 2004 with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lord Fairfax Community College, then obtained her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix. In 2022, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification at Walden University. Since graduation Alicia has been practicing as a board-certified nurse practitioner in the emergency department and is excited to make the transition to primary care.
